1st week of advent


 

1st Sunday leading up to King Jesus Christ’s birthday.

The 1st week of advent is when we are supposed to self-reflect and get ourselves ready for the birth of King Jesus Christ.

I love the fact that many religions use this opportunity to help us become closer to God as we are waiting to celebrate His Son’s birth.

I can’t help thinking though if you are waiting for a certain season to come for you to decide to self-reflect then maybe you should go deeper with Your Soulmate King Jesus Christ. Find him in your secret place everyday not just in a season.

I believe that the Israelites were no different than us. They got bored with the same thing again and again. They didn’t seek the Lord God Almighty as he had directed them. He directs us the same way. We ALL become complacent in our walk with God. We think we are good. When we really aren’t. We want that great relationship with the one who made us, but we aren’t willing to put in the effort. We keep waiting and anticipating something that has already happened.

KING JESUS CHRIST OF NAZARETH WAS BORN 2022 YEARS AGO. HE DIED AND ROSE AGAIN SO THAT WE MIGHT HAVE SALVATION!

HE IS HERE.

HE IS WITH US YESTERDAY, TODAY, AND EVERYDAY!

Let us not become like the Israelites and miss the birth of King Jesus Christ. Let us not be so caught up in what the world has to say about him. Let Our Groom find us ready to testify for his greatness. Let us become him today in our actions, our thoughts, and words.

Let us prepare for His Birthday with a bright light for the world to see. Let us encounter him every day and live as though we are going to see him today.

I pray in this advent season that WE ALL encounter King Christ in a way like never before. Let God blow our minds. May He leave us in awe and wonder.

LET MY DRY BONES COME TO LIFE FOR YOUR GLORIOUS KINGDOM TODAY!

BITTERNESS

  Good morning my brothers and sisters in King Jesus Christ. Today we are going to talk about a topic that even makes me feel uncomfortable. BITTERNESS -  anger and disappointment  at being treated unfairly ; resentment . Do you have BITTERNESS in your heart?  Let's be honest we ALL have dealt with or still dealing with BITTERNESS in our lives. No one wants to admit to it. It is easier to say that we love everyone, but that is not the truth. I know that seems harsh of me to say, right? Truth be told we  ALL have dealt with or is still dealing with BITTERNESS about something that someone did to us. I know I did and still do at times. Bitterness creeps in like a thief waiting to drive a wedge between God and you. It binds us and takes hold so fast. It's not fair they got that promotion or that grade or that raise or that healing. Obedience

  Good evening my brothers and sisters in King Jesus Christ. I pray your Sunday was full of worship and praise for God along with rest. Today at church the priest spoke about OBEDIENCE and how it is the key to everlasting life with God in Heaven. To be obedient is a hard thing, especially these dark days. The world continues to say to rely on oneself for everything. Don't listen to them. You are your own person. However if we are honest then we are being OBEDIENT to something that is not God. When I was growing up I was taught the 10 commandments. I was taught to obey God, my parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, teachers, pretty much anyone older than me.It was called respect. It didn't hurt me actually it taught me a lot. It helped when I got older and it was time for me to go get a job.
